Welcome to the home of the Eugene Rugby Club

While we are currently in the offseason, that doesn't mean that there is no rugby going on. Touch rugby is now taking place at South Eugene High School at 6:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ruggers from all the various Eugene teams: club, college, and high school, men and women, are all attending and taking part in the fun and competition. It's an excellent environment for those looking to learn the game as well as those who are looking to refine their skills and work on their fitness. Come on out and play some rugby!

The regular season will resume in the fall. We're always happy to have more folks join us so come on out to a practice or give one of our contacts a call if you're interested in playing. See the Practice Info page for details on times and locations of practices once the details are sorted out. In the meantime, check out Dr. J's suggested 6 week training regimen to get yourself in shape for the upcoming season.

Alumni Game on August 21st

We would like to welcome the Eugene Rugby Club's esteemed former players back to the greater Eugene-Springfield metropolitan area the weekend of Saturday August 21st. The game will take place on Saturday (of course) and there will be both pre- and post-game festivities. Details are still forthcoming on the activities and the game venue so please stay tuned for more information.

AJ running the ball vs Vancouver We are always looking for new players to learn the game of Rugby Union--a full-contact game involving running, kicking, tackling, and a whole lot of other skills. Since 1973, Eugene Rugby has had a rich tradition with several league championships and regional appearances.

We need competitive athletes to continue this winning tradition! No experience is necessary--we'll teach you all you'll need to know. Contact Mike Crocker or Courtney Phillips for practice information or with any questions regarding the Eugene Rugby Club. Hope to see you out on the pitch soon!
